The Humble Servant
Mary House a place for the lowly.
At Mary House, our volunteers go above and beyond to make every person feel welcome, seen, and acknowledged. For that, we are deeply grateful.
Each person who walks through our doors carries a story—and you take the time to listen. Someone who enters feeling distressed after a difficult day leaves with renewed hope because of you. Your compassionate smile brings comfort to the sorrowful. Even a small gesture, like offering a dessert, becomes something meaningful—a reminder of joy, of dignity, of being cared for. After all, each person we serve was once a child too, and simple sweetness can still bring light to the heart.
To our donors—perhaps you are unable to volunteer but desire to be part of this mission—we thank you. Because of your generosity, we are able to provide meals to the children of God. Mary House is not just a place for food; it is a place of encounter. It is a community that many of our brothers and sisters look forward to each week.
Your support allows us to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
And what happens here does not stay here. The one who receives a warm meal and a loving encounter leaves changed—more hopeful, more at peace—and carries that kindness into the world. What begins as a small spark at Mary House spreads outward, touching homes, streets, and neighborhoods.
Together, through God’s grace, we are not only feeding the hungry—we are helping transform lives.
